Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, seeks a Project Controls Engineer to lead cost control, budgeting/estimating, forecasting, and change management across industrial capital projects. The role ensures standardization of project controls and data-driven decisions to keep projects delivered as sold.

The position offers remote-friendly arrangements with possible hubs in Radnor, PA, Houston, TX, Independence, OH, or Montreal. 8–12+ years’ experience and a relevant degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
• 8-12+ years of total experience in project controls.
• Experience within industrial gas, chemical processing, oil & gas, process industries, EPC execution, or heavy industrial capital builds.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support cost controllers; allocate resources across the project portfolio.
• Develop, standardize, and maintain Airgas' project controls policies, procedures, tools, and guidelines.
• Lead overall project cost, estimating, progress measurement, and change management for portfolios.
• Manage and report KPI dashboards and portfolio updates; support project and portfolio reviews.
• Lead the Change Management process to evaluate scope, schedule, and cost impacts.
