Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to manage end-to-end delivery of small capital projects (< $30M) across the AMG portfolio. The role leads FEED through execution, ensuring safety, budget, quality, and schedule adherence while providing technical support across the portfolio.

Location flexibility across Radnor, PA, Houston, TX, and Independence, OH with 30-40% travel. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for coordinating multi-discipline teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 7+ years in continuous process plant design/capital projects.
• 5+ years in industrial gas, cryogenic separation, or petrochemical industries.
• Travel requirements 30-40% depending on project locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-by-design concepts across all engineering lifecycle stages.
• Develop FEED packages and SoW for internal or external resources.
• Coordinate Design Authorities across disciplines to validate technical solutions.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, and track deliverables with third-party firms.
• Oversee design reviews and handover to operations.
