Job summary

Airgas seeks a Project Controls Engineer to lead cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and change management for a portfolio of capital projects. You will standardize project controls and act as the analytical engine driving data-informed decisions for project leadership.

In this role you will ensure end-to-end integrity of controls from development to close-out, deliver KPI dashboards, and partner with Finance. Remote work options may be considered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
8-12+ years of total experience in project controls.
Prior experience in industrial gas, chemical processing, oil & gas, process industries, EPC execution, or heavy industrial capital builds.

Responsibilities

Mentor and support cost controllers; allocate resources across the portfolio.
Develop and maintain Airgas' project controls policies and guidelines; drive continuous improvement.
Lead cost estimation, budgeting, progress measurement, and change management for projects.
