Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Project Controls Engineer to lead master schedule development for a large program. You will integrate cost and schedule, support the Program Manager, and drive performance across scope, schedule, and risk.

The role requires 4+ years in project controls, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a secret clearance. Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6 and PowerBI is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
• Experience: 4+ years of project controls / project management experience
• Experience: Managing and controlling program scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality on large programs
• Business: Proactive financial and performance metric management
• Familiarity: Earned value management and six sigma principles
• Leadership: Employee engagement and program performance
• Tooling: Develop integrated master schedules with MS Project or Primavera P6
• Citizenship: US citizenship required
• Security: Ability to obtain & maintain a secret clearance
• Preferred: PowerBI, Excel PowerQuery and Macros

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of the program master schedule
• Integrate cost & schedule aligned with contractual scope
• Assist Program Manager with scope, schedule, cost and risk performance
• Establish and maintain the schedule baseline and IMS for the program
• Provide routine estimate at completion forecasts with the IMS
• Collaborate on risk management with the risk team
• Coordinate PMO communications and program reviews
