General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) seeks a talented Project Controls Engineer to lead the program master schedule for a large, complex program.

The role integrates schedule with cost and risk, supporting the Program Manager, Production Manager and Technical Director to optimize performance for a high‑impact defense program. You will establish baseline schedules, manage IMS, and drive change proposals, pricing strategies and Basis of Estimate development while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 4+ years of project controls / project management experience.
• Experience with earned value management and six sigma principles.
• US citizenship required; ability to obtain & maintain a secret clearance.
• Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to develop integrated master schedules using MS Project or Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the program schedule baseline and IMS.
• Assist with development and maintenance of the overall cost baseline.
• Collaborate with risk management team to maintain the risk register and reserves.
• Lead program management reviews, pricing initiatives and Basis of Estimate development.
• Ensure alignment of schedule, cost, risk and performance across all program areas.
