Job summary

OLH, Inc. seeks a Principal Business Analyst Project Controls in Aiken, SC to oversee project controls, financial analysis, and cost control across complex programs. The role entails developing cost baselines, schedules, and reports with limited supervision.

You will guide multi-project analyses, lead change management, and deliver strategic financial insights to management throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business / construction management / technical / engineering and 5 years of practical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business / construction management / technical / engineering or a related area and 7 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent.
• Associate’s degree and 11 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent.
• HS diploma and 15 years of relevant experience would also be considered equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, proposal development, and/or project management.
• Five years of experience demonstrating knowledge of desired area of subject matter expertise.
• Strong problem solving, analysis and interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
• Possesses practical experience in the use of the Site Business systems.
• A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of project management and cost and schedule control at the tactical level would be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost and schedule baselines, milestone schedules, work breakdown structures and spend plans.
• Lead advanced project control concepts and develop advanced system applications.
• Provide technical control expertise to guide subordinates in complex analyses.
• Participate in routine project cost reviews / schedule meetings.
• Develop and implement a change management system for assigned work scope.
• Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance and propose mitigations.
• Understand the business environment and client operations.
• Link client planning with the project controls process and manage client relations.
• Apply financial analysis techniques to work scopes and decisions.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and forecasts.
