Job summary

COMPA Industries, Inc. seeks a Principal Business Analyst – Project Controls to provide project controls, estimating, and scheduling support for the NNSA Capital Projects mission at Savannah River Site. On-site in Aiken, SC, salary in line with DOE expectations.

1-year base with two 1-year options. This role requires a Master’s degree (or equivalent) and extensive experience in cost/schedule control, financial analysis, and technical writing for Basis of Estimate and Basis of Schedule documents.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business, construction management, technical engineering, or related area with 5 years of practical experience; or Bachelor’s with 7 years; or Associate’s with 11 years; or high school diploma with 15 years.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, proposal development, and/or project management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost and schedule baselines, milestones, WBS, and spend-out plans.
• Advise estimators on labor and non-labor resources needed.
• Provide input to schedulers on activity sequences, durations, and logic.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts, and spend plans.
• Lead project controls training and enforce CAS/FAR principles.
