Job summary

E2 Federal Services, LLC is seeking a Principal Estimator in Aiken, SC. The role leads project controls, cost and schedule management, and financial analysis for complex projects in a federal contracting environment.

Requires DOE Q clearance and extensive experience in estimating and controls workflows. The individual will develop baselines, support change control processes, and provide leadership to a team while coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful program

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree with 5–7 years of practical experience in engineering, construction, or project controls.
• Experience with automated accounting, cost management, scheduling and estimating systems.

Responsibilities

• Under limited supervision, perform project controls activities and prepare financial plans and reports.
• Develop cost and schedule baselines, WBS, and spend out plans to optimize resources and facilities.
• Provide technical guidance in advanced system applications and multi-project analysis.
• Participate in cost reviews and establish a basic change management system.
• Analyze variances in cost and schedule and communicate mitigation plans to management.
• Interface with client and planning processes to support business objectives.
• Apply financial analysis techniques to work scopes and decisions as requested.
• Develop costing rates and maintain rates in systems like PeopleSoft; analyze variances.
• Perform extensive analysis to identify funding limits and implement cost controls.
• Define requirements and develop models for complex business systems and test plans.
• Initiate special studies and translate management concepts into operating plans.
• Prepare monthly financial reports with analyses and forecasts.
• Provide leadership and training to project controls staff; understand CAS/FAR.
