Job summary

Louisville Gas and Electric Company and Kentucky Utilities Company are seeking a Project and Contract Manager to own a portfolio valued at roughly $500 million, delivering large transmission and substation projects on time and within budget.

You will lead planning, design, procurement, and turnover to operations, manage contractor performance, and coordinate across management, controls, and field teams while enforcing LG&E/KU project standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years experience with project management, contract management, and/or construction management responsibilities.
• Experience in project budgeting, project cost control, project scheduling, and project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plans and manages a portfolio of large projects with budgets typically in the hundreds of millions.
• Ensures contractor services and deliverables meet quality and are delivered on time.
• Monitors contractor performance and outputs, including oversight for contracted project managers.
• Resolves contractor issues and change order submittals; negotiates claims and disputes.
• Administers contracts and change orders; manages related communications with stakeholders.
• Maintains executive-level communication on portfolio status, budget, and resource planning.
