Job summary

Louisville Gas and Electric Company and Kentucky Utilities Company seeks a Contract Administrator in the Project Engineering department to manage commercial activities for capital projects. You will bid, negotiate, and contract for materials, equipment, and services, ensuring best overall value for customers.

Responsibilities include drafting contracts and NDAs, issuing POs, maintaining auditable records, and monitoring supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Preferred utility-related experience.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong analysis and negotiation skills; certification in purchasing/supply chain (C.P.M., C.P.S.M., etc.) is a plus.
• Outgoing, analytical, and excellent communicator with proficient office software.

Responsibilities

• Executes sourcing for capital projects via bidding, negotiation and contracting.
• Drafts, negotiates and edits contracts, NDAs and change orders for capital projects.
• Issues purchase orders for goods or services and maintains records.
• Builds relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers; ensures value.
• Monitors supplier performance and expedites delivery as needed.
• Assist Accounts Payable with invoice resolution and compliance with policies.
