Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings group in the United States seeks an experienced Project Architect to lead architectural development for Mission Critical / Data Center projects. You will guide technical coordination, documentation, and team development from planning through construction administration.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in commercial architecture, a NAAB‑accredited degree, and a professional license; LEED credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

NAAB‑accredited architecture degree required.
Current Architectural license required; NCARB certification and LEED Accreditation a plus.
10+ years in commercial architecture with 2+ years in Mission Critical/Data Center projects.

Responsibilities

Translate concepts into technical documentation using Revit and visualization tools.
Develop technically sound design solutions aligned with project goals.
Support site planning, zoning entitlements, and approvals with civil and consultant teams.
Prepare and manage construction documents from schematic design through construction administration.
Coordinate architectural and engineering documentation, including QA/QC and detailing.
Assist with project schedules, staffing plans, and fee tracking.
Mentor team members and promote collaboration and growth.
Perform code analysis, material evaluations, and technical research.
Support bidding and construction administration activities.
