Job summary

Stantec seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead planning, forecasting, and organization of multidisciplinary teams for design, production, and document delivery. You will manage the design of mission critical data center facilities, ensuring reliability and operational continuity, and execute projects per Stantec and Owner protocols.

Qualifications

• 15 years’ experience managing complex projects.
• 10 years’ experience in project management.
• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
• Experience in data centers and mission critical facilities valued at $30MM+.
• Proficient in financial tracking and admin processes.
• PMI PMP® Certification preferred; ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, forecasting, and organization of multidisciplinary project teams for design, production, and document delivery.
• Manage the design of robust, resilient data center facilities ensuring reliability and continuity.
• Execute projects per Stantec and Owner protocols and procedures.
• Identify and resolve design and construction challenges quickly and effectively.
• Serve as primary client contact and develop strong relationships.
• Coordinate with consultants, internal teams, contractors, and client representatives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and guide project team members to support growth and project success.
• Oversee fee development, proposal prep, and scope definition.
• Monitor project budgets, codes, and approval processes; track finances and documentation.
• Champion quality control and represent the firm in meetings and public settings.
