Job summary

Cuhaci & Peterson Architects, Engineers & planners, Inc. is seeking an experienced Architect in Orlando, FL to lead complex architectural projects from design through construction administration.

You will coordinate with engineering disciplines, develop CDs, and ensure quality control while mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate holds an active architectural license and has at least ten years of professional office experience, with strong knowledge of building codes and construction

Qualifications

• Active architectural license required.
• Minimum ten years of professional office experience.
• Strong understanding of building construction methods and major codes.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and direct coordination with engineering disciplines.
• Perform cost estimating and prepare probable cost statements.
• Oversee production of construction documents (CDs) for projects.
• Mentor, teach and lead team members.
• Ensure technical quality and QC throughout projects.
• Assist PM with scope and budget and client meetings.
