Job summary

Cuhaci Peterson Architects, Engineers & planners, Inc. seeks an Architect with a valid architectural license and at least ten years of professional office experience to lead complex projects from Design through Construction Administration.

The role emphasizes coordination with multiple disciplines, quality control, and client interaction. The Architect will mentor staff, oversee CD production, manage permitting and bid processes, and ensure adherence to codes while maintaining project budgets

Qualifications

Active architectural license required.
Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in a professional office.
Strong understanding of building construction methods and major model codes.

Responsibilities

Initiate and direct coordination with engineering disciplines and provide guidance on system types.
Cost estimating for projects.
Perform in-depth architectural and engineering coordination QC checks.
Lead and mentor project teams; supervise and train staff.
Produce design drawings, CDs and specifications; signing & sealing.
Oversee production of CDs for multiple projects and manage permitting/approvals.
Assist PM with scope and budget, support client hearings and meetings.
