Job summary

HOK Group, Inc. in San Francisco seeks an experienced Architect to lead design development and documentation for complex projects. You will ensure the design intent through conceptual to construction phases and coordinate with project teams, disciplines, and vendors.

The role requires a Bachelor's in architecture, 10+ years' experience, LEED credential within 12 months, and healthcare project background. You will mentor staff, review drawings, and support client relations while advancing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or interior design required.
• 10+ years of experience preferred.
• LEED credential within 12 months of employment.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the overall design intent is incorporated into detailed documentation.
• Monitor the design process from concept through construction administration.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to meet project requirements.
• Lead and mentor staff, manage project scheduling and budgets.
• Set up project team software parameters and BIM data organization.
• Collaborate with the Project Leadership Team to deliver high-quality drawings.
• Prepare reports and coordinate consultant communications and changes.
• Involve Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
