Job summary

DyeLot is a hospitality-focused design studio seeking a licensed Project Architect to lead the development of contract documents and supervise the project team, applying independent judgment and a broad knowledge of related disciplines. This role drives technical implementation and design intent across hospitality, lifestyle, workplace, and retail projects.

The position emphasizes leading detailing, coordinating agency reviews, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes while mentoring staff

Qualifications

• Architectural licensure in the state where the office is located.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited program preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in architectural practice.
• Extensive knowledge of architectural detailing and construction standards.
• Experience translating concept design into contract documents.
• Experience with agency review and permitting processes.
• Ability to lead client and development team communications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/REVIT and related software.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of contract documents and project detailing.
• Monitor progress and quality of documents, coordinating with team.
• Lead research on code requirements and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Maintain information flow with the Project Manager.
• Assist in staff development and architectural knowledge growth.
• Attend kickoff meetings and coordinate agency reviews and permits.
• Prepare bid documents and respond to contractor questions.
• Manage RFIs and submittals per contract terms.
