Job summary

DyeLot, a hospitality-focused design studio, seeks a Senior Job Captain who oversees technical implementation, coordinates contract documents, and guides junior staff to deliver high‑quality projects on time.

You will ensure adherence to architectural standards, coordinate with consultants, prepare bid and contract documents, and support project managers. Proficiency in AutoCAD/REVIT and strong knowledge of codes are required; DyeLot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited program.
• 8+ years of experience in architectural practice with focus on construction documentation.
• Extensive knowledge of architectural detailing and current construction standards.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD/REVIT and other business software and their application to contract documents.
• Extensive knowledge of codes and ability to successfully complete the permitting process with minimal aid and supervision.
• Extensive knowledge of construction contract administration processes.
• Has the ability to lead communication efforts with client and development team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Contract Documents with project team and consultants.
• Provide guidance to staff and review contract documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and issue bid and contract documents; respond to RFIs and shop drawings.
• Ensure compliance with office standards and project timeframes.
• Assist in agency reviews and permit clearance as required.
