Job summary

DyeLot is seeking a licensed Project Architect to lead and execute contract document development, coordinating with the project team and consultants to ensure design intent is realized. The role requires independent judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to adapt standards to project requirements.

Responsibilities include developing work plans, monitoring document quality, coordinating with agencies, and guiding staff through codes, permits, and bid processes.

Qualifications

• Must hold architectural licensure in the state where the office is located.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in architectural practice preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of architectural detailing and current construction standards.
• Experience translating concept design into contract documents and coordinating specifications.
• Knowledge of agency review and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of contract documents and supervise project team.
• Prepare and maintain the project work plan with input from Project Manager.
• Coordinate with consultants and review document quality and progress.
• Lead project detailing to convey design intent and manage plan revisions.
• Respond to agency comments, RFIs, and permit-related submittals.
