Job summary

DyeLot is seeking a Job Captain who excels in architectural practice with emphasis on design implementation and Contract Documents. You will coordinate with the Project Manager and senior staff, ensuring accurate detailing and code-compliant deliverables for hospitality-focused projects.

The role involves managing document development, agency reviews, bid support, and timely communication with the project team, while maintaining office standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited program preferred.
• 2 or more years of experience as a Job Captain focused on construction documentation.
• Knowledge of architectural detailing and current construction standards.
• Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD and related software for Contract Documents.
• Knowledge of codes and entitlement and permitting processes.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and produce Contract Documents with PM and senior staff input.
• Assist in project kickoff meetings and verify site-specific requirements.
• Review and monitor contract documents for compliance with office standards.
• Coordinate development of project detailing to convey design intent.
• Prepare bid documents and respond to contractor questions during bidding.
• Submit documents for agency review and handle corrections for permits.
• Complete timesheets accurately and adhere to company policies.
