Job summary

The Architect of Record duties may apply as directed by project leadership. The candidate will mentor junior staff, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure adherence to design processes and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Architecture required.
• Architect licensure required.
• NCARB certification preferred.
• LEED accreditation or sustainability credential preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in BIM/Revit, Word and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and coordination of the architectural scope with the Project Manager.
• Develop coordinated construction documents with technical clarity and code compliance.
• Coordinate work across design and engineering disciplines, consultants, and production teams.
• Engage with AHJs during permitting and regulatory reviews.
• Conduct material and building systems research to support design decisions.
• Lead construction administration activities (RFIs, submittals, field reports).
• Serve as Architect of Record as assigned by leadership; sign/seal documents prepared under supervision.
• Mentor junior staff and support project teams.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Architecture

Architect licensure

NCARB certification preferred

LEED Accredited or sustainability credential preferred

10 years professional experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel
