Job summary

HKS Architects in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Project Architect to lead design teams, coordinate complex healthcare projects, and deliver high-quality documentation across the project lifecycle.

You will mentor staff, manage client relations, and ensure QA/QC across disciplines while navigating regulatory requirements and project risks. This role requires travel and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture.
• 15+ years of experience.
• Experience with Healthcare projects preferred.
• Architectural Registration required.
• Sustainable design accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads team of Project Architects in planning work and solving design issues.
• Collaborates with PIC/PM to define work plans and manage production schedules.
• Prepares client presentations and presents design concepts and drawings.
• Coordinates with PM, clients, public agencies, consultants and contractors to obtain approvals and modify scope of services.
• Travel will be required.
