Zusammenfassung

CannonDesign seeks a high-level Project Architect to lead the development of technical content for large-scale, complex projects, coordinating work across disciplines to ensure integrated deliverables and compliance. The initial assignment focuses on a 2.0+ million square foot Mayo Clinic healthcare facility, guiding the project from pre-design through construction with emphasis on quality and performance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 10 years of related professional experience, including 5 years in construction documentation on institutional/commercial projects and at least 3 years in construction administration on large institutional/commercial projects
• Current Architectural Registration in the United States
• CDT and LEED accreditation preferred
• Knowledge of building codes and requirements
• Strong client leadership and technical leadership skills
• Experience with large, complex projects and mentoring staff
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software

Aufgaben

• Manage critical path process to lead project team through all technical and production aspects from initial stages of pre-design through project completion
• Lead engagement with the Office or Project Quality Leader for project support
• Lead the integration and development of all technical aspects and content of the work into instruments of service
• Establish and maintain realistic work and labor plans and deliverable schedules supporting financial success
• Identify, communicate, mitigate, and resolve project-related issues through risk assessment
• Guide Project Architects in quality plans and updates, milestones, and charettes
• Review and execute documentation strategy for each phase drawing document deliverable
• Collaborate with Project Designer to align design with client goals, budget, schedule
• Translate design intent through technical documentation to construction phases
• Integrate building performance and sustainable design goals into a holistic solution
• Monitor project documentation and compliance with contractual obligations
• Lead Life Safety, Building and Energy Code analyses
• Coordinate disciplines with architectural design intent
• Collaborate with Model Manager on model quality
• Align contract documentation with Project Manual content and drawings
• Lead Construction Administration activities including RFIs and submittals
• Mentor and direct project team members; meet utilization targets
• May assist Office Quality Leader and support office quality efforts
• Travel as required
• Professional attire for client meetings
