Job summary

Ware Malcomb in Dallas is hiring a Senior Project Designer to craft innovative conceptual and schematic designs for architectural projects. You will present design options, shape client goals, and build strong client relationships while driving design excellence across the project lifecycle.

You will guide and mentor team members, collaborate with project teams, and maintain design intent and quality from inception through construction, coordinating Interior Design for spec buildings as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Commercial Architecture Design.
• Licensed Architect is preferred.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite and SketchUp essential.
• Revit and AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Ability to create complete design presentation packages.
• Knowledge of key parameters of various product types for site and building design.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to develop relationships and determine clients’ project goals.
• Develop design options for both site and buildings.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and mentor junior team members in documenting design.
• Follow projects from inception through construction to maintain design quality.
• Coordinate Interior Design team for spec buildings to provide cohesive design.
• Understand work plan/budget for projects and meet hours and deliverables.

As a Senior Project Designer at Ware Malcomb, you will create innovative conceptual and schematic designs for architectural projects. You will present design options, shape client goals, and build strong client relationships while driving design excellence. You will guide and mentor team members and collaborate with project teams, maintaining design intent and quality at every stage.

Your Role

• Meet with clients to develop ongoing relationships and determine clients’ project goals.
• Responsible for developing design options for both site and buildings.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and direct junior team members in correctly documenting design.
• Follow projects from inception through construction in order to maintain design quality and intent.
• Coordinate Interior Design team for spec buildings in order to provide cohesive design.
• Understand Work plan/budget for projects and be able to meet the expectations for hours and deliverable.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in Commercial Architecture Design is preferred.

• Adobe Suite and SketchUp experience is essential.
