Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Project Architect to join our team in Illinois. You will lead multidisciplinary project teams, manage projects from design through construction, and build strong client relationships while contributing to marketing and business development efforts.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Architecture, 10+ years of experience, and is a registered architect or NCARB candidate. Revit and visualization/tools experience are preferred. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program is required; Masters preferred.
• Registered Architect (NCARB preferred) is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in architectural design and planning within core markets.
• Demonstrated project management and supervisory experience.
• Proven ability to develop new clients and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams from design through construction.
• Coordinate project documentation and deliverable drawings/specifications.
• Manage project QA and adherence to Farnsworth Group standards.
• Lead coordination among internal disciplines and external consultants.
• Communicate with clients on project technical matters and regulatory reviews.
• Oversee construction contract administration, submittals, RFIs, and closeout.
• Support project marketing pursuits and interviews.
• Mentor junior staff and provide day-to-day technical guidance.
