Job summary

KAI Enterprises in St. Louis and Dallas is seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead the production of construction documents within a multidisciplinary team, driving design excellence and project profitability.

You will oversee schematic design through construction administration, mentor staff, coordinate BIM content, and ensure alignment with budget and schedule while maintaining project records.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture is required.
• Registered Architect; NCARB preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in architecture.
• Knowledge of architectural production practices.
• Experience with 3D software (e.g., SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape).
• Experience in bidding and construction administration.
• Experience supervising production teams and coordinating sub-consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary team to deliver project success.
• Coordinate scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Collaborate with BIM team for consistent outcomes.
• Manage design documents from schematic design through construction documents.
• Provide weekly progress reports to Project Manager.
• Mentor junior staff in technical production aspects.
• Ensure BIM alignment with budget and schedule.
• Maintain project records per retention procedures.
