Job summary

CannonDesign in St. Louis is seeking a Project Architect to lead the development of technical content and coordinate with all disciplines to deliver integrated project deliverables.

You will supervise teams, ensure QA/QC, and apply design intent while engaging in business development and client relations. The role requires a US-registered architect with 8+ years of experience, proficiency in Revit and related tools, and the ability to communicate clearly with owners and consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 8+ years of related professional experience.
• Current Architectural Registration in the United States.
• CDT and LEED accreditation preferred.
• Knowledge of building codes.
• Strong communication skills; client facing.
• Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, MS Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, production, coordination, and detailing as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Coordinate engineering systems with engineers and consultants; support design leadership.
• Prepare design sketches of moderate to complex site plans.
• Communicate project status and design intent to owners, consultants, and clients.
• Lead project teams using CannonDesign Method to achieve quality and productivity.
• Mentor interns and junior staff; monitor QA/QC and codes compliance.
