Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an experienced senior-level project accountant to provide financial support to project managers and teams. You will develop project budgets, analyze margins, and create funding in Oracle for large and complex projects.

Responsibilities include cost tracking, invoicing collaboration, reporting, and ensuring data integrity. Travel may be required; strong Excel and Oracle skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or closely-related discipline.
• 5–7 years of post-education accounting, project contracts and change management experience.
• Proficient knowledge of project accounting principles and methods.
• Ability to coordinate with stakeholders and understand contract requirements.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, pivot tables, formulas, and VLOOKUP.
• Familiarity with Oracle and project billing processes.
• Strong communication and QA/QC mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage collection, recording, and allocation of project costs and revenue for assigned projects.
• Oversee lifecycle project accounting from creating accounts to budget tracking and close-out.
• Handle invoicing reviews, cost transfers, and variance reporting with project leadership.
• Develop robust project accounting reports and performance visualization.
• Monitor revenue recognition and unbilled balances across projects.
