Job summary

Kforce's client, a leading real estate developer in New York, seeks a Project Accounting Supervisor to lead a team of project accountants and accounts payable staff. You will oversee AIA billing, contract terms, and cash flow, and partner with project managers for accurate monthly close and reporting.

The role requires 7+ years in construction/project accounting, experience with Sage 300 and Procore, and strong Excel skills. Office five days in midtown Manhattan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred.
• 7+ years of construction/project accounting experience.
• Experience with Sage 300 (Timberline) and Procore.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel.
• Willing to work in office 5 days in midtown Manhattan.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Project Accountants and Accounts Payable staff.
• Review and ensure accuracy and integrity of AIA invoice billing.
• Review and verify billing for fee percentage and insurance.
• Liaise with clients and monitor collection of billing.
• Manage outstanding accounts receivable and client inquiries.
• Monitor cash flow and report to senior management.
• Participate in monthly financial meetings with project managers.
• Review contracts, subcontractor documents, payment terms, insurance, and bonds.
