Jobgether in the United States is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to oversee project accounting, billing, and collections. You will mentor project accountants, ensure contracts are followed, and partner with project managers to deliver accurate invoices.

You will also monitor unbilled time, support AR activities, train managers on billing processes, and drive improvements across workflows and controls to enhance financial performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of high-volume billing and project accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, invoicing, and collections.
• Experience using Deltek Vantagepoint for project setup and billing.
• Proficiency with Tableau and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project accounting activities and billing processes.
• Mentor Project Accountants in Deltek Vantagepoint setup.
• Review contracts for invoicing compliance and accuracy.
• Prepare and issue high-volume invoices with PMs.
• Monitor unbilled time/expenses and address outstanding balances.
• Assist with AR tracking, collections, and overdue resolutions.
• Train PMs on billing processes and onboarding.
• Escalate billing questions and contract issues as needed.
• Manage the Missing Rates tool and support collections.
• Support forecasting and financial analysis as needed.
• Assist finance with general accounting duties.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and controls.
