Job summary

Wellby Financial is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to serve as the Accounting Department's primary representative for enterprise projects, system implementations, and fixed asset initiatives. You will coordinate accounting support for projects, including testing, capitalization, and process documentation, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience including financial reporting and fixed assets.
• Experience with capital projects, system implementations, or cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with accounting systems/ERP; CPA/CMA or PM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accounting representative for enterprise projects and growth initiatives.
• Coordinate testing, capitalization, depreciation, and accounting for project costs.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls in project accounting.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for project accounting and fixed assets.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to drive process improvements.
