Wellby Financial seeks a Senior Project Accountant to serve as the accounting lead for enterprise projects, system implementations, and growth initiatives. You will coordinate capital projects, fixed asset accounting, and process improvements while ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

The role requires collaboration with business and technology partners, testing and documentation, and support through month-end and audits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience supporting capital projects, system implementations, or cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience working with accounting systems and ERP platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Credit union or banking experience preferred.
• CPA, CMA or project management certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as primary accounting expert for enterprise projects, systems, and growth initiatives.
• Coordinate accounting for project testing, capitalization, and fixed assets.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for project accounting.
• Assist auditors with documentation and explanations related to capital projects.
