Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s or CPA desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project accounting or similar.
• Knowledge of HUD regulations.

Aufgaben

• Oversee project accounting functions including ledger preparation, account reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and budget analysis.
• Ensure all project transactions are accurately recorded in the GL and project accounting system.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for various projects.
• Work closely with project managers to monitor project budgets, forecast future costs, and identify potential financial risks.
• Ensure HUD regulations and guidelines in all financial activities.
• Develop and implement effective project accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial information and documentation.
• Collaborate with other finance team members to streamline financial operations and achieve departmental goals.
• Continuously evaluate current accounting technology and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
