Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for various projects.
• Work closely with project managers to monitor project budgets, forecast future costs, and identify potential financial risks.
• Ensure HUD regulations and guidelines in all financial activities.
• Develop and implement effective project accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial information and documentation.
• Collaborate with other finance team members to streamline financial operations and achieve departmental goals.
• Continuously evaluate current accounting technology and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.

Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Senior Project Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This role will be responsible for leading project accounting activities, including maintaining ledger accounts, performing account reconciliation, and managing financial reporting for various projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex financial tasks and ensuring compliance with HUD regulations.
