Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to support a large government contracting client with project accounting, financial review and analysis. This role handles multiple entities and 100+ active projects, acting as the accounting owner for assigned entities.

The position is remote within the United States with CST or EST business hours and requires monthly travel to client locations. CPA and public accounting background are a plus; experience in government contracts construction,

Qualifications

• 5-10 years' experience in GL accounting, project accounting, close and analysis.
• Must have government contracting entity experience.
• CPA certification and/or public accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support a large client with project accounting, financial review and analysis.
• Serve as accounting owner for assigned entities with 100+ active projects.
• Work with nationwide Project Managers, a Financial Analyst, and offshore accounting team.
• Be prepared to travel once per month to client locations.
