Addison Group is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to support a large government contracting client with project accounting, financial review and analysis. This role handles multiple entities and 100+ active projects, acting as the accounting owner for assigned entities.

The position is remote within the United States with CST or EST business hours and requires monthly travel to client locations. CPA and public accounting background are a plus; experience in government contracts construction,

Qualifikationen

• 5-10 years' experience in GL accounting, project accounting, close and analysis.
• Must have government contracting entity experience.
• CPA certification and/or public accounting experience is a plus.

Our client is a national firm that provides back office accounting, finance, and HR services to government contractor businesses and this Senior Project Accountant will support a large client with project accounting, financial review and analysis.

This role will support a client consisting of multiple entities with 100+ active projects. The Senior Project Accountant will serve as the accounting owner and for assigned entities and work closely with nationwide Project Managers, a Financial Analyst, and an offshore accounting team. This role can be based anywhere in the US, working either CST or EST business hours. This role must also be prepared to travel once per month to various client locations as needed.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years' experience doing GL accounting, project accounting, close and analysis.
• Must have government contracting entity experience.
• Prior experience in the government contracts construction, government contracts IT or government contracts manufacturing is highly desired.
• Must have curiosity, learn quickly and be self driven.
• Must have experience working for companies with with numerous multi- entities and company complexity.
• CPA certification and/or public accounting experience is a plus.
