Job summary

Aypa Power, a Blackstone portfolio company, seeks a Senior Project Accountant to oversee day-to-day project accounting, month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations across construction costs, CIP, accruals, and leases. You will support audits and ensure timely financial reporting.

The role requires 3-5 years of renewable energy or construction accounting, a bachelor's degree, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Travel up to 5% is expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounting experience in renewable energy or construction.
• Experience with project cost accounting, GL ownership, and month-end close is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Own specific areas of the general ledger including journal entries and reconciliations;
• Drive monthly close with timelines;
• Assist audits and provide documentation;
• Review owner contracts for accounting tasks;
• Lead monthly draw process for projects under construction;
• Ensure timely month-end/quarterly reporting;
• Process job cost accruals and manage receivables;
