Job summary

Clearway Energy is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage financial data, journal entries, and reconciliations for construction projects across multiple ownership structures. You will support monthly and quarterly internal reporting, control processes, and ad hoc analyses in a fast-paced energy development environment.

Responsibilities include month-end close, GAAP reporting, draw package preparation, and collaboration with Treasury and Portfolio Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in general accounting.
• Knowledge of an ERP accounting system.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent efforts and deliver high-quality work accurately and on time.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Execute the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process within established time frames.
• Perform analyses of income statements, balance sheets, and equity transactions.
• Prepare monthly draw packages for construction projects.
• Maintain reporting templates and data queries in financial reporting software.
• Support GAAP-based external and internal reporting for multiple projects.
• Assist with ad hoc requests from Treasury, Portfolio Finance, and Construction teams.
• Support audit processes and external auditors with requested data.
