Job summary

We are seeking a Project Accountant to support project financial management from start-up through close-out while partnering closely with Project Managers and the Financial Management Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in job cost or project accounting.
• Familiarity with WIP schedules, percentage-of-completion, and change orders preferred.
• Experience with Sage Intacct and Excel strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, analyze, and reconcile job cost ledgers with accurate expense allocation.
• Monitor costs against estimates and budgets; report variances.
• Coordinate with project managers to create progress billings on a percent‑of‑completion basis.
• Review subcontractor pay apps and payroll allocations including certified payroll where applicable.
• Support month-end close and assist audits.
