You will track project costs, forecast cash flow, reconcile accounts, and support billing and subcontractor accounting, partnering with project teams to improve financial visibility.

Requires 4+ years in project accounting or related fields, strong Excel, and familiarity with Sage Intacct or Procore is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

I'm recruiting for a Project Accountant II with an established real estate development and construction organization. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong project accounting background who enjoys managing the financial side of complex construction and development projects.

What You'll Be Doing

Manage project accounting and financial reporting across multiple construction and development projects.

Track project costs against budgets, analyze variances, and help ensure accurate forecasting.

Prepare project cash flow, expense projections, and other financial reporting for internal stakeholders.

Reconcile project-related accounts and research discrepancies impacting financial results.

Support billing, subcontractor accounting, and project closeout activities.

Partner with project teams and accounting leadership to improve reporting accuracy and financial visibility.

Assist with process improvements and provide support to junior accounting team members.

What We're Looking For

4+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, ideally within construction, real estate development, or project accounting.

Strong knowledge of project costing, budgeting, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with detailed project financial data.

Experience with Sage Intacct and/or Procore is a plus.

Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
