Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC invites applications for a Senior Accountant role in Las Vegas, onsite. The position is temp-to-hire with a full-time schedule and compensation between $39-$44 per hour.

You will support a fast-paced accounting team, handling high-volume transaction processing, general ledger, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• 4+ years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• Strong experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Experience in a high-volume transaction environment.
• Strong account analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with revenue and expense accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and large data set analysis.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and adjusting entries.
• Perform monthly bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and reconciling items.
• Review revenue, expense, and account activity for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain supporting schedules and account analyses.
• Assist with audit requests and preparation of supporting documentation.
• Monitor financial data integrity across multiple systems and reporting platforms.
• Partner with operational teams to investigate and resolve accounting issues.
• Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and workflows.
