Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support day-to-day accounting operations within our finance team in New Jersey. The role focuses on transactional accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger support.

The position involves processing daily transactions, invoicing, bank reconciliations, and aiding month-end close.

Qualificações

• 1–3+ years of experience in accounting, AP or AR
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.) is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas)

Responsabilidades

• Process daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system
• Assist with billing, invoicing, and cash application
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation
• Assist with resolving discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and customer accounts

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support the day-to-day accounting operations of our finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with hands-on experience in transactional accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger support.

The Accounting Associate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and timely processing of routine accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Process daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system
• Assist with billing, invoicing, and cash application
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation
• Assist with resolving discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and customer accounts

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1-3+ years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, AP, or AR role
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.) is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas)
