Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Program Scheduler to develop and maintain detailed project timelines across multiple programs, breaking down scope into tasks and dependencies. You will monitor progress, identify delays, and communicate updates to stakeholders while collaborating with PMs and work stream leads to optimize efficiency using Smartsheets and Gantt charts.

Role is 100% onsite in Palo Alto, CA, with a salary range of $55,000–$67,000 and Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in project/program management or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with project management software and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules across programs.
• Monitor progress and identify potential delays or bottlenecks.
• Communicate schedule updates to project stakeholders and owners.
• Coordinate with PMs and work stream leads to optimize efficiency.
• Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation actions.
