Job summary

PMA Consultants is seeking a Senior Scheduler in the San Francisco area to lead complex schedules for major programs and enterprise initiatives. You will advise executives, enforce scheduling governance, and drive improvements across project teams, with mastery of CPM, GPM, and Primavera P6.

The role supports water and wastewater construction projects within large capital programs, performing time impact analyses and cost-loaded scheduling to support cash flow projections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field.
• 5+ years scheduling/project controls on large-scale capital projects.
• Water/wastewater construction experience preferred.
• Mastery in Primavera P6, CPM, GPM theory, and schedule forensics.
• PMI/engineering certifications (PMP, PE, CCP, PSP) strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Deep understanding of earned value, construction workflows, and industry standards.
• Experience developing standards, training materials, and continuous improvement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead schedule governance and oversight for large-scale programs and enterprise clients.
• Develop and review complex schedules and progress data with minimal supervision.
• Interpret contracts to reflect scheduling obligations and timelines.
• Prepare advanced reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for diverse audiences.
• Mentor junior schedulers and promote PMA scheduling best practices.
