Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Senior Manager of Program Scheduling to lead the Program Master Planning Department. An onsite presence is required.

You will oversee a team of schedule analysts, drive development of the Integrated Master Schedule, and ensure alignment with government and corporate standards. The role demands extensive experience in project scheduling, EVM practices, and strong leadership to coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, and program offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience; graduate degree with 10+ years; in lieu of a degree, 16 years of experience.
• Experience directly related to Project Schedule and control; primary tool MS Project Server.
• Must be familiar with Earned Value Management (EVM) practices, project planning, coordination and production scheduling.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and multi-task projects.
• Military contractor / Aerospace & Defense background preferred.
• Knowledge of DoD EVMS Guidelines (ANSI-748-D), IPPD, IPMR.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written.
• In-depth knowledge of Product Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead a program scheduling team and collaborate across management levels.
• Advocate for team and products to align with business rhythms and metrics.
• Ensure major projects and schedules are integrated across functional groups.
• Track plans, perform risk analysis, and resolve critical path or logic conflicts.
• Utilize Gantt, PERT, EVM and other techniques to assess progress and variances.
• Develop and coordinate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet objectives.
• Ensure schedules comply with government and corporate requirements.
• Drive change management and adoption of analytics and efficiencies.
• Manage and develop a team of schedule analysts and reporting managers.
