Job summary

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, is seeking a Program/Product Manager to support the Cheshire, CT location. The role focuses on Engineering (Customer and Collins funded) projects and legacy programs, with onsite responsibilities and frequent interaction with customers and internal stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have a university degree (or advanced degree) and 5–8+ years of program management experience, with strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR and a requirement for U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

  • Requires university degree or equivalent and 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing complex programs or projects.
  • Knowledge of US government contracting regulations (FAR/DFAR).
  • U.S. citizenship is required for access to information.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business plans and strategies for the Inertial Systems business within Collins Aerospace.
  • Lead pursuit, proposals, negotiations, and customer contact for program activities.
  • Own budgets and lead program execution including NRE development and hardware sales.
  • Coordinate with engineering, BD, and other PMs to align with programs and contractual requirements.
  • Travel up to 20% as needed.
