Job summary

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, seeks a Program/Product Manager for its Cheshire, CT location to oversee engineering projects and manage legacy programs. This onsite role focuses on delivering program plans, schedules, budgets, and technical objectives while coordinating with stakeholders across the business.

The candidate will lead negotiations, manage contracts, and drive risk management. Travel up to 20% is expected, and a U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
• Demonstrated experience in project or program management, overseeing complex initiatives.
• Working knowledge of U.S. government contracting regulations, including FAR and DFAR.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business plans and strategies to grow the Inertial Systems business as part of an overarching business strategy.
• Lead pursuit and order capture activities, including strategy development, customer contact and influence, proposal development, and negotiation.
• Own budgets for each project and facilitate cadence out briefs to senior leadership.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Business Development, and fellow Program Managers to develop and leverage product line solutions and capabilities.
• Travel up to 20%.
