- Accountable for all operations associated with the Ground Based Radar Digitization (GBRD) Program
- Partner with cross-functional program teams and applicable manufacturing sites to develop and execute manufacturing strategy
- Shape, develop, and execute product-line strategies and objectives to achieve cost, quality, and schedule goals
- Drive capital strategy and execution and manufacturing make/buy/where strategy
- Establish accurate Bills of Material and executable build plans
- Establish manufacturing plans and manage operations-specific risks and opportunities
- Develop operations requirements for gate reviews and execute approved strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Own program On Time Delivery and develop recovery strategies
- Communicate operations status, issues, risks, and opportunities to factory and program management
- Prepare and present information for Monthly Management Reviews
- Support proposal activities, including Basis of Estimate generation
- Provide functional oversight and professional development for team members
- Build and lead cross-functional teams and projects across operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain
- Present effectively to audiences at all levels, including executives
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, and/or Program / Project Management
- Experience with manufacturing / shop floor execution and resource planning systems
- Financial/budgets and/or risk & opportunity management / experience with EACs
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance
- Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes across product life cycle
- Experience with Make/Buy/Where process, Capital Planning, Cost Reduction Strategy, Gate Reviews & Constraints Management
- Proposal experience with knowledge of cost estimating and TINA proposal process
- Have Earned Value Certification or equivalent or obtain within six months of hire
