Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) seeks a Senior Business Manager to oversee daily business and administrative operations for SIMO, aligning staffing, resources, and performance with contract goals. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of progressively challenging experience in technical/ supervisory/ management roles, including lead capacity.
• Security clearance eligibility is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily business operations in accordance with contract requirements, budgets, policies, and standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies, procedures, work rules, and performance standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure necessary business supplies and support.
• Improve contract performance, service delivery, efficiency, and consistency.
• Coordinate work schedules, training, staffing needs, and resource assignments.
• Plan and monitor the use of materials, equipment, personnel, and other resources.
• Review performance, identify barriers, resolve issues, and implement process improvements.
• Lead and mentor supervisors, technical staff, and support personnel; foster accountability.
• Coordinate with program management to align operations with contract goals.
• Prepare and present reports on business performance and productivity to leadership and government reps.
• Promote safety compliance and operational controls.
