Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to oversee a major SIMO segment, coordinating with NASA EGS, the Senior Vehicle Operations Manager, Launch Director, and KIOSC personnel. You’ll align resources, ensure safe, efficient operations, and support mission requirements.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in large infrastructure, 6+ years in leadership, a relevant engineering degree, and a secret clearance eligibility. PMP and Maximo experience are preferred assets.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in large infrastructure and complex environments.
• 6+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Secret clearance eligible.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; or equivalent with experience.

Responsibilities

• Interface with NASA EGS Operations team, incl. Senior Vehicle Ops Manager & Launch Director.
• Prioritize and execute EGS requirements with SIMO and KIOSC.
• Coordinate availability of system-engineering expertise to support operations.
• Manage day-to-day operations for assigned area and enforce standards.
• Plan staffing, materials, equipment, and schedules for safe execution.
• Ensure personnel safety and compliance with contract requirements.
• Support program management with reporting and improvement.
