Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) seeks a Senior Business Manager to oversee daily operations supporting the SIMO program at Merritt Island, FL. You will align staffing, resources, work standards, vendor support, and performance reporting with contract requirements and program objectives.

You will partner with program leadership to promote operational consistency, efficient resource use, compliance, and continuous improvement across a large facilities and infrastructure services program.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressively challenging experience in technical, supervisory, or management roles.
• At least six years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily business operations per contract requirements, budgets, policies, and established work standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies, procedures, work rules, and performance standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain necessary business supplies and operational support.
• Develop and implement procedures that improve contract performance, service delivery, efficiency, and consistency.
• Coordinate work schedules, employee training, staffing needs, and resource assignments.
• Plan and monitor the effective use of materials, equipment, personnel, and other resources.
• Review operational performance, identify barriers, resolve issues, and implement process improvements.
• Lead and mentor supervisors, technical staff, and support personnel; promote accountability and collaboration.
• Coordinate with program management and functional leads to align business operations with contract goals and deliverables.
• Prepare and present reports on business performance, resource utilization, personnel productivity, and improvement actions to company leadership and authorized government representatives.
• Promote compliance with applicable safety requirements and established operational controls.
